We offer meaningful and effective programs, classes and demonstrations during our volunteer community service hours that will last a live time as an organic gardener.

Beverly Farms in Miller Place N.Y. is celebrating its 1st seasons as a community farm. With 30 acres under cultivation, Amber Waves Farm grows more than 500 varieties of 60 crops including vegetables, herbs, grains, and cut flowers. You can find our products and produce in our market, kitchen, CSA, at local food pantries, and select local restaurants.

Mission:

Our mission is to educate, knowledge of the history , culture and environmentally sound methods of growing nutritious produce;. Activities include: seed to sow, transplanting, composting, seed saving weeding, and harvesting.

As a retired S.T.E.M. high school teacher, I am committed to teaching organic sustainable agriculture; by practicing crop rotation, cover-cropping, permaculture, biodiversity, predatory insects and natural amendments.

We are a family managed, owned and operated farm; Our interest is in nutritional well being of our subscribers and the health and security of our planet.

The Magic Edible Farm’s mission is to teach organic farming methods all over Long Island schools, libraries, places of worship and private events that we offer over the seasons to show others the value and responsibilities as stewards of our land on behalf of our communities.
